Loreen Mudapakati: CJIC Harare branch office is like my second home

2022-07-07

Hi everyone, I’m Loreen Mudapakati, in June 2018, joined China Jiangxi International and Economic Corp Zimbabwean Branch as an Administrator.

It’s been an amazing journey full of successes and challenges. I had an opportunity to work with very experienced management full of professionalism and practical skills in articulating various projects. Working very close to the Chief Representative Mr Tom Wu and the Project managers like Sheng Zheng, Zhang Hong and Duan Chuanxiu. I have learnt alot like to pay attention to details and to read through blue prints, being strategic and it helped me in improving my communicating skills whilst doing my work efficiently and effectively.

In 2020, I was part of the planning and coordinating team for the successful commissioning of Marovanyati Dam Project in Manicaland Province by His Excellence President Emmerson Mnangagwa, what an amazing experience that was. I am very delighted to forester my expertise with the CJIC whilst assisting the Zimbabwean government in achieving Zimbabwe’s vision 2030 through implementation of various infrastructural projects.

The Harare branch office is like my second home as I am made to feel welcomed, loved appreciated and heard. With my fellow Chinese colleagues we get to teach each other our native languages and cultures during our breaktimes. During Chinese festivals we get to feast together as one family. When my birthday follow during a working day we get to celebrate it in the office with my fellow colleagues.
