From 9th to 11th March, Zhang Jian'an, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company, visited and investigated the Madagascar market. During the period, Comrade Zhang Jian'an paid a visit to Baptiste Olivier, Minister of Energy of Madagascar, made a field inspection of the low and medium-voltage distribution network project in Madagascar constructed by the company, met with the representatives of the owners of some of the projects in progress, visited the cadres and staff of the company working in Madagascar, and presided over the symposium to listen to the work report of the representative office and the project management department.

On the afternoon of March 9th, after arriving at the representative office of the company in Madagascar, Zhang Jian'an met with the representative of the owner of Madagascar low and medium voltage distribution network project. Zhang Jian'an said that the company is an international engineering contractor that "respects contracts and keeps promises", and has been ploughing into the African market for more than 40 years, consistently adhering to the concept of localised operation, providing a large number of employment opportunities for the countries in which it is stationed, and completing a number of livelihood projects and landmark projects in many countries in Africa, which are highly recognised by the owners of the countries concerned. The company will promote the construction of medium and low-voltage distribution network projects with high quality and solve the emergency of electricity for the people along the projects as soon as possible, meanwhile, it will actively plan to promote new energy, clean energy and other businesses, and help the government of Madagascar to solve the problem of electricity shortage. The owner's representative affirmed the work of the company's representative office in Madagascar and the project management team, expressed satisfaction with the progress and quality of the project, and hoped that the company would continue to actively participate in Madagascar's power and energy businesses, and expressed full support for the company's business expansion in Madagascar.
