On-site inspection of the project

Recently, Mr. John Banza Lunda, Minister of Infrastructure and Public Works of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), and Mr. Jean-Paul Mbuwebwa Kapo, Governor of Kasai-Oriental Province, led a government delegation to the construction site of the 280km asphalt road project on National Highway No. 2 (between Mbuji-Mayi and Mbanza) – a project undertaken by our company – for an on-site inspection. Local media covered the event live.

Minister Lunda’s delegation visited the project’s construction area, conducted a detailed inspection of the actual construction progress, and carefully listened to the project team’s report on key aspects including current work advancement, work organization and deployment, and quality control systems. During the inspection, Mr. Lunda fully recognized the project team’s professional capabilities in integrated resource management, precise on-site supervision, and strict quality control, and expressed high appreciation for the project’s progress and quality. He emphasized that the completion of the 280km asphalt road project on National Highway No. 2 (between Mbuji-Mayi and Mbanza) will significantly improve transportation conditions between Mbuji-Mayi and surrounding cities and villages, strengthen regional economic ties, and hold important strategic significance for promoting the economic and social development of Kasai-Oriental Province and neighboring regions. During the construction process, the project has not only ensured reliable quality and orderly work progress, but also truly benefited the production and daily lives of local residents along the route, effectively boosting local employment, income growth, and economic vitality.

Since the project’s launch, the project team has strictly complied with all standards and specifications related to quality, safety, and the environment. It has adopted various measures to strengthen the work safety defense line during the rainy season and ensured that the project construction progresses safely, controllably, and efficiently. In the next phase, the company will continue to adhere to the fundamental principle of high-standard construction and high-quality contract execution, and make every effort to advance the project, contributing to the modernization and improvement of the DRC’s transport infrastructure.
