On March 9, He Youlin, Chief Officer of the Chinese Mission to the African Union, Minister Counsellor, visited the Jiangxi Economic Cooperation Zone in Zambia with his delegation team to inspect and guide the work. They were accompanied by the heads of the company's relevant organizations in Zambia.

He Youlin and his delegation visited the offices, road service areas, living areas and other places in the cooperation zone, and listened to the introduction of the basic situation of the cooperation zone, investment promotion directions, enterprise settlement, and subsequent planning.

He Youlin expressed appreciation for the design concept, management methods, and industrial layout of the cooperation zone. He pointed out that since Chairman Xi Jinping proposed the "Belt and Road" initiative, China-Africa economic and trade cooperation has continued to deepen and expand, and the "freehand brushstrokes" layout has been implemented into a large number of visible and tangible cooperation projects. The cooperation zone should improve its position, continuously integrate into the national development strategy, actively plan projects, implement the "Supporting African Industrialization Initiative", "China's Plan to Help African Agricultural Modernization" and "China-Africa Talent Training Cooperation Plan" proposed by Chairman Xi Jinping, actively connect with the AU's "2063 Agenda" and the second Ten-Year plan, better serve the overall situation of China-Africa cooperation, and become another model of China-Africa "Belt and Road" cooperation.
