On 19 June 2025, the groundbreaking ceremony for the 100 MW Rosh Pinah Solar Power Plant project, constructed by CJIC, was held in Namibia. Attendees included Mr. Kahenge Haulofu, Managing Director of Namibia Power Corporation (NamPower), Lazarus Nangolo (MP) of the Orange River Constituency where the project is located, alongside the representative of CJIC and project execution team. The event was covered by mainstream Namibian media.

In his address, Mr. Haulofu announced the official name of the project: "Sores |Gaib", which in Khoekhoegowab means “Power of the Sun”. He emphasized Namibia’s abundant solar resources and commitment to clean energy development, stating: "The Sores |Gaib 100 MW Solar Project marks a critical milestone in Namibia’s energy transition and sustainable development journey. As the nation’s largest solar facility, it will significantly enhance regional economic growth, strengthen energy independence, and improve climate resilience." He further expressed expectations for high-quality, standards-compliant project delivery.

The representative of CJIC affirmed: "We will mobilize all resources to ensure successful project implementation, supporting Namibia’s energy transition and green development goals."
